Michael Varney and sons, Chris and Jason, have a long history inventing products that make homes warmer and safer through venting technology.

In 1997, they began a company called Thermocrete USA, Inc. to bring a new product from the UK to the American market. Both generations continue to lead the team bringing experience and science together to provide modern technology to an ancient industry.

Together, they have trained chimney and venting professionals throughout North America and currently support a network of Installers and Registered Agents from Maine to California.

The success of Thermocrete as a solution for damaged chimneys led Thermocrete USA, Inc. to launch the development of an ever-increasing number of chimney repair products, such as Smoktite and Dynacote. As more products were developed it became evident that a larger company was needed to represent them all adequately and thus Ventech Industries, Inc. was formed in 2002.

Before his commitment to Ventech Industries, Inc., the parent of Thermocrete USA, Inc., Mike was well known in the chimney safety industry and enjoys great personal and professional

respect throughout the United States and Canada.

He continues his daily involvement with the company and enthusiastically undertakes the challenge of finding new and diverse methods of promoting fire safety.

Chris Varney

Vice President and COO, Chris guides the development of the Ventech line of products and work vigorously to position it as the leading supplier of the most versatile chimney restoration solutions available on the market today.

Jason Varney

Vice President and Plant Manager, Jason administers the manufacturing aspect of the Ventech product line.

As a direct result of his Quality Assurance program, the network of Thermocrete installers is assured a consistently superior product delivered on time.
